This Privacy Policy explains how MultiFeed handles data when you use our website and app. MultiFeed is designed to minimize data collection. We do not create user accounts, we do not collect names, email addresses, or passwords, and we do not store the text you translate.
Data We Collect and Use
Text You Translate
The text you enter is sent to our servers and then to OpenAI in order to generate a translation. We do not store the content of your translations. We may keep limited, non-identifying technical data, such as hashed identifiers, for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and security.
Device / Install Identifier
The app creates an anonymous install identifier and stores it on your device using secure storage. We use a hashed version of this identifier to enforce usage limits, such as daily translation limits. We do not use this identifier to identify you personally.
Ad-Related Data
We use Google AdMob for rewarded ads in the app. AdMob may collect and process data according to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your personal data from ads beyond what is needed to display the ad and grant the related reward.
AI and Third-Party Processing
To provide translations, we send the text you enter and your selected options, such as language and tone, to OpenAI. This data is processed by OpenAI under their Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. We do not use your data to train OpenAI models; it is used only to generate your translation response.
What We Don't Do
- We do not create user accounts or collect names, email addresses, or passwords.
- We do not store the actual text you translate.
- We do not keep logs containing your translation content.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not store user data beyond limited, non-identifying data needed for security and usage control.
Data Retention
We do not retain translation content. Limited non-identifying technical records, such as hashed identifiers used for rate limiting or security, may be kept only for as long as needed to operate the service safely and reliably.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the limited data we process. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the website or app after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
